1974 Triumph Trident T150V

1974 Triumph Trident T150V – almost Museum Condition!

Incredible almost "Museum Condition" 1974 Triumph TRIDENT T150V - Like NEW! Bike is NOT RESTORED, BUT ESSENTIALLY ALL ORIGINAL! MATCHING numbers, runs like new, almost always starts on 1 kick, always garaged, hard to believe the condition - you have to see it. Incredible provenance: Original sales receipt, most maintenance records, and Triumph certification of matching numbers origin.

Boyer EI, tires great but are old, need replacing only because of age. Everything works except for one of 2 horns. Has fresh oil and filters for new owner. Only defects: tiny 1/8" chip in tank, small crack in tip of front fender (O.O. made me promise to not repair it), small dent in left muffler, crack in right hand control module.

Original owner had top end re-built by vintage Triumph expert in 1994 only because he saw some top-end oil leaks. I ride this bike! Screams like a banshee! This was the fastest bike made in 1969 and the ultimate super-bike then - and runs like new. A show-winner for vintage bike shows!

Original paint on tank is stunning, almost flawless.....only thing you see in pics is reflections of clouds.

Many original records, including Original sales receipt...I have phone number of original owner (and title copy to prove he is original owner), will come with bike. Before purchasing the bike, I had area Triumph dealer who is vintage Triumph expert run compression tests, hot engine oil-pressure tests (indicates condition of main bearings), etc. and everything was within new specs. INCLUDES ORIGINAL OWNER'S MANUAL, SHOP MANUAL, PARTS CATALOG and CERTIFICATION of originality by the TOMCC in England.

Same bikes without the Documentation and provenance are going for $8,500.00. Only reasonable offers considered. This bike is worth more. It wins in every bike show. NADA on this bike is $8,130 but this is a "matching numbers" "ORIGINAL" bike in far beyond excellent condition WITH RECORDS. In fact, I have the complete written history as told me by the Original Owner. I'm only selling because I have a collection of old Triumph's, ride this one the least just bought a new Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster.

A vintage Triumph expert in NC just wrote this about this bike: "NADA, wrong choice! Roy Bacon (greatest expert & author ever on Triumphs) has this listed as a FIVE-STAR INVESTMENT, not many Triumphs with that rating. At auction this could go for $12-15,000" A major US Triumph classic dealer offered $7,000 for this bike (you know they would have then listed it for $9k to $10k or more) as did a local collector last year.
